The Origin of GuestDrop: Built for My Own Wedding
Why GuestDrop was built, when it went live and which apps are official, written by its founder, Yogeshwar Chaturvedi.

I'm Yogeshwar Chaturvedi, and I build GuestDrop. It lets event guests scan a QR code and upload their photos and short videos from the browser, with no app and no signup. The host gets everything in one gallery.
I built it for my own wedding. I wanted to collect the photos our guests took, and I didn't want those photos tied to one platform, so I added the option to back them up to Google Drive.
This page records when each part of it happened, so anyone looking for the product can check the dates.

Official apps
Guests never need an app. They scan the QR code and upload from their phone's browser. Hosts can use the web or the official app, which is published under my name, Yogeshwar Chaturvedi. The iPhone version is in App Store review.
The real apps are the ones linked from our official apps page.
A separate app also called GuestDrop is published by CodeWays PTY Ltd. It is not made by us and isn't connected to guestdrop.app or your events. If you created your event at guestdrop.app, it won't appear in that app.
