2. Service Description

GuestDrop is an event photo-sharing platform that allows event creators to generate QR codes for guests to upload photos and videos. Uploaded media is stored in GuestDrop's secure cloud storage, with an optional copy in the creator's connected Google Drive account.

3. Account Registration

• Event creators must sign in with a Google account to create events
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• Guests do not need an account to upload photos via QR code

4. Pricing

• GuestDrop is free to use. Creating an event, generating a QR code, and collecting guest uploads through it costs nothing, and guests never need an account to upload
• No payment method is required to create or run an event
• A creator may optionally make a single payment, for a single event, to extend how long that event's hosted gallery stays open. Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record and responsible for tax collection and remittance across 190+ jurisdictions, processes this payment. It is charged once, applies only to the event it was purchased for, and is not a subscription. It does not auto-renew
• Where an optional payment is available, the price is shown before you pay, and it will not apply retroactively to events you have already created
• If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. The retention extension is supplied immediately: as soon as your payment is confirmed, your event's gallery window is extended and our side of the purchase is complete. By completing the purchase, you expressly consent to this immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14 day right of withdrawal once that performance has begun. Our payment provider, Dodo Payments, collects this same consent and acknowledgment at checkout under its own buyer terms, so this clause and Dodo's checkout terms state one consistent position, not two separate ones

5. Event Duration and Access

• Each event is active for the window set during creation, up to 7 days after the event date on the free plan
• A creator may optionally purchase an extension adding 30 days or 1 year to the event's current expiry. Extensions stack on top of whatever time is left, and a purchase against an already-expired event reopens it from the purchase date
• After expiry, the event QR code and gallery link become inactive
• After the gallery closes, the creator has 30 days to download the originals or back them up to Google Drive, after which GuestDrop deletes them. Copies in your Google Drive remain in your Drive

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates others' rights
• Use the Service to distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks
• Attempt to access other users' events or data without authorisation
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Service
• Share event QR codes publicly for the purpose of collecting inappropriate content

7. Content Ownership

• Photos uploaded by guests belong to the respective photographers
• Event creators are granted access to uploaded photos through their dashboard, and through their Google Drive if they turn on Drive backup
• GuestDrop does not claim ownership of any uploaded content
• Event creators are responsible for obtaining consent from guests regarding photo usage

8. Google Drive Integration

• By connecting Google Drive and turning on backup, you authorise GuestDrop to create folders and upload copies of your event's photos on your behalf
• GuestDrop accesses only the folders it creates for your events
• You can revoke Drive access at any time through your Google account settings

9. Limitation of Liability

GuestDrop is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for loss of uploaded photos due to Google Drive issues, network failures, originals deleted at the end of the 30-day download window, or circumstances beyond our control. Our total liability to you is limited to the total amount you have actually paid us for that event, which is zero where you have not purchased a gallery retention extension.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Refunds

• You can request a full refund of a gallery retention extension only while the extension is unused, meaning before your event's free window has ended
• A purchase made after the free window has ended is in use as soon as your payment is confirmed, so it cannot be refunded
• When a refund is issued, the extension is removed and the gallery goes back to closing at the end of its free window
• To request a refund, email support@guestdrop.app with the event name and the email address you paid with

14. Founding Pro Presale

• The Founding Pro presale is a one-time payment of $99 USD toward GuestDrop Pro, a plan for people who run many events. Pro is not built yet, and the presale gives no access to any feature today
• It is charged once and is not a subscription. It does not auto-renew. Dodo Payments processes it as Merchant of Record
• If Pro ships, the presale covers your first three months of Pro, starting when Pro becomes available to you
• You can request a full refund at any time before Pro ships by emailing hello@guestdrop.app with the email address you paid with
• If we decide not to build Pro, we refund every presale in full and tell you by email
• The presale does not change any event: it does not extend a gallery's retention or raise any storage allowance
