GuestDrop vs Kululu
Who this comparison is for.
This comparison is for someone who wants guest photos on a big screen during the event and is choosing between Kululu and GuestDrop. Both do that, both work from a QR code in the browser, and neither asks guests to sign up. The real differences are upload limits, how long the photos are kept, and whose storage they sit in.
Kululu prices by upload count and storage time. GuestDrop has no upload tiers, holds 10 GB for each event free and sends a copy of everything to your own Google Drive, so the question is mostly how big your event is and how long you want the photos.

Two situations, and which one fits.
A small gathering that only needs the live wall tonight
For a dinner or small party of 10 to 20 guests where the live screen is the point and nobody needs the photos next month, Kululu's free plan does the job: up to 100 uploads and a Live Photo Wall, with uploads saved for 7 days in standard quality.
A wedding or big party where the photos have to last
Past 100 uploads, Kululu's free plan runs out and you're choosing between Plus ($39, 500 uploads) and Pro ($99, unlimited). GuestDrop doesn't count uploads, holds 10 GB for each event free, includes its own live slideshow, and sends a copy of the original files to your Google Drive, where they have no end date.
What you give up, either way.
The tradeoff is plans sized by upload count versus a free gallery with a copy in your own Drive. Kululu gives you a polished live wall and album, with Plus adding custom branding and Pro adding full brand control, a custom event URL and manual moderation, and in return you pay by upload volume and your photos leave its servers after 7 days, 3 months or 1 year. GuestDrop gives up the custom event URL, is free to use, and sends a copy of the originals to your own Drive.
Where the photos live after the party.
Kululu is built around the moment: a Live Photo Wall on a TV or projector while the event is happening, then a digital album guests can browse and caption. Its plans are sized by how many uploads you expect and how long you want them stored, from a free 24-hour, 100-upload event to a $99 Pro plan with a year of storage.
GuestDrop covers the same moment with its own fullscreen live slideshow, then treats the photos as yours: a copy of every upload goes to the creator's Google Drive in original quality. There's no upload tier to guess in advance, and the Drive copy has no storage deadline.
Common questions about switching from Kululu.
