GuestDrop vs GuestPix
Who this comparison is for.
This comparison is for someone who has found GuestPix, likes the scan-and-upload idea, and wants to know whether a paid package is worth it. Both tools skip the app and the guest signup. GuestPix wraps the photo gallery in a bigger event product with invitations, RSVPs and a guestbook, hosted on its own servers for 12 months. GuestDrop only collects photos and videos, and it sends a copy of each one to your own Google Drive.
If you need an invitation and RSVP tool anyway, GuestPix may save you a second product. If you already have those, this page shows what you would be paying for.

Two situations, and which one fits.
A wedding that still needs invitations and RSVPs
If you haven't sent invitations yet and want RSVPs, a written and video guestbook, and printable QR signage from the same place as your photos, GuestPix covers all of it in one package. Its Signature package ($89) keeps uploads open for 12 months and lets you theme the gallery, which suits couples who want one polished event page.
An event where the photos are the whole point
A birthday, a reunion, or a wedding whose invitations are already out doesn't need the extra layer. GuestDrop keeps the job to collecting every guest photo and video, full quality, with a copy in your own Google Drive, with a live slideshow for the venue screen and no package to choose in advance.
What you give up, either way.
The tradeoff is extras versus ownership. With GuestPix you pay $39 to $119 once for a hosted event product with invitations, RSVPs and a guestbook, and your photos live on its platform for 12 months unless you renew or download them. With GuestDrop you give up those extras and get a free tool that copies every original into a Drive account you already control, where it stays after the hosted gallery closes.
A photo tool, not an event website.
GuestPix calls itself a digital extension of your event, and the feature list backs that up: digital invitations with RSVPs, written and video guestbook messages, a private feed where guests like and comment, super albums, design themes, and more than 180 Canva templates for QR signage. It is a well-built product for people who want the whole event to live on one page.
GuestDrop is deliberately smaller. Guests scan, upload and leave, and a copy of every original goes to the creator's own Google Drive, with an Apple Photos-style gallery on top. There is no invitation or RSVP tool here, and if you need one, GuestPix is the more complete choice.
Common questions about switching from GuestPix.
GuestPix, aboneliği olmayan tek seferlik paketler satar.
GuestPix'in sunduğu, GuestDrop'un sunmadığı nedir?
